Malvertising Definition

Malversting is a malicious form of online advertising that spreads malware. It may appear legitimate, but once a user clicks on it, a virus will infect their system and compromise their security. The malicious ad may also redirect users to a nefarious website and deceive the user into downloading harmful software or sharing sensitive data.

Ultimately, malvertising aims to harm a user or network through unwanted ads and computer viruses that can be used to steal data or demand ransom.
